ipynbtopdfscanner is a free tool that converts Jupyter notebooks (.ipynb) into clean, print-ready PDFs on any phone or computer. It is an independent project.

Why we built it

Turning a notebook into a good PDF usually means installing LaTeX, fighting “xelatex not found” errors, or accepting PDFs where long code is cut off and tables run off the page. We wanted something that just works, for students handing in assignments, data scientists sharing reports, and anyone on a phone.

What makes it different

• Private: notebooks are converted inside your browser and never uploaded.
• Smart page breaks: no line of code, table row, image or equation is split across pages.
• Readable: long code wraps, wide tables fit, math renders, colours are kept.
• Flexible: clean or “Jupyter (as is)” layout, hide cells, table of contents, name and roll number, watermark.
• Works everywhere: Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, Linux, and offline once installed.
